Eating Disorder Treatment

I offer eating disorder therapy through an integrated, individualized approach that honors the complexity of each person’s experience. Treatment begins with a comprehensive assessment to understand where you are in your recovery, what challenges you’re facing, and what supports may be most helpful at this stage. From there, I collaborate with clients to develop thoughtful treatment recommendations that are responsive to their unique needs, strengths, and goals. This process allows therapy to feel intentional, flexible, and grounded in your lived experience rather than following a rigid model.

My work integrates attachment-based therapy, somatic approaches, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and skill-building interventions. Together, we explore how early relationships, emotional patterns, and nervous system responses may be connected to disordered eating, while also developing practical tools to support regulation, coping, and change. This balanced approach addresses both the deeper roots of the eating disorder and the everyday behaviors that sustain it, helping clients build a more compassionate, resilient relationship with food, body, and self.

Individual Therapy

I offer individual therapy for adolescents and adults ages 13 and up, providing a supportive, collaborative space to explore challenges and work toward meaningful change. I work with individuals experiencing a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, body image concerns, perfectionism, trauma, life transitions, and difficulties with self-esteem or relationships. Therapy is tailored to each client’s unique needs, strengths, and goals, with an emphasis on building insight, resilience, and practical skills for everyday life.

While I specialize in the treatment of eating disorders, I also provide general therapy for individuals who may not meet criteria for a specific diagnosis but are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected. My approach is integrative and individualized, drawing from evidence-based modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, attachment-informed work, somatic approaches, and skills-based interventions. Together, we work to better understand patterns, develop healthier coping strategies, and create sustainable change that supports long-term well-being.

Family Therapy

I offer family therapy to support healthier communication, connection, and understanding within the family system, recognizing the vital role families play in the recovery process. When one person is struggling, the entire family is impacted, and family therapy provides a space to explore patterns, strengthen relationships, and address challenges together. This work can be especially important during eating disorder recovery and other mental health concerns, where consistent support, clear boundaries, and shared understanding can significantly influence long-term healing.

Family therapy focuses on building skills that help families respond more effectively to stress, conflict, and emotional needs. Sessions may include improving communication, reducing unhelpful dynamics, increasing empathy, and fostering a sense of teamwork around recovery goals. By supporting the family system as a whole, therapy helps create a more stable, supportive environment that promotes growth, resilience, and lasting change for everyone involved.

Virtual Therapy

I offer virtual therapy services to provide accessible, flexible support for individuals who prefer to receive care from the comfort of their own space. Virtual therapy can be a great fit for clients with busy schedules, limited access to local providers, or those who feel more at ease meeting from home. Research shows that telehealth can be just as effective as in-person therapy for many concerns, and it allows us to maintain consistency in care while reducing barriers such as travel time or location.
